Trail 10: Shmurat Nahal Tavor visited on 5/95 Maybe visited too late in the season. It should be much more beautiful in winter. The highlight of this trail is the descent down to Biquat Yavniel (p.91, par.4). Driving along Nahal Tavor (p.92, par.8) is also very nice. However, this trail is not described well at all in the book. The main problem is not being able to find the strong right turn in p.92, par.4 We made a short cut to Menahamia forest, down to the main road and back to the trail at p. 92 par 7. I know more people confronted this problem on the trail. Therefore it is recommended to follow a similar trail described in 'Laderech be-4X4' (trail 13/14).
Trail 19: From Shfela Dromit To Harey Yehuda visited on 2/95 This is one of the most beautiful trails I have been to. It was one of the first ones I took after buying my Niva. Because it was winter, every thing was green and blooming. The highlight of this trail is definitely Ramat Avishoor (p.156). This is a height which gives excellent view all around. The southern part of it includes some nice boulders (P. 157, par.2) which should be taken slowly and provide no problem. However from there on things are getting messy. We did find the steep decent, we did go up the vadi – but could not find the way to Tel Goder. Simply not there. We had to go back down the vadi and continue all the way west to Kibbutz Beit Nir.
